I opened up an email from a salesperson trying to reach me and it began with, "I apologize if I'm bothering you..."
My first thought was, why are you apologizing for doing your job?
If you believe you have something that will be helpful to others, don't apologize for believing in yourself and in what you do.
Speak up.
Make your offer.
Share your idea.
Make your request.
And do so with confidence and without an apology.
